About Dr. N.G. Berrill

A member of the American Psychological Association, Dr. Naftali G. Berrill established the New York Center for Neuropsychology & Forensic Behavioral Science (NY Forensic) nearly 30 years ago. He serves as Executive Director for this multidisciplinary practice which has its main office in Brooklyn, New York, with additional locations in Great Neck and Manhattan. Dr. Berrill and his staff provide neuropsychological and psychoeducational evaluations for those dealing with learning disabilities, ADD/ADHD, brain injury as well as neurologic conditions such as dementia, stroke, MS and ALS.

The firm has worked with the U.S. Department of Probation and Pre-Trial Services for 25 years providing forensic evaluations, courtroom testimony and treatment to a wide range of patients who demonstrate significant personality disorders, a propensity for violence, psychiatric illness and are implicated primarily in internet sex crimes.

A forensic psychologist associated with several high-profile criminal and custody matters, Dr. Berrill has appeared on television news programs and a host of documentaries which focus on the profiling and discussion of numerous high-profile cases. He has also lectured at various universities throughout the country on topics related to the psychopathic or criminal mind.

Among the other professional associations Dr. Berrill is a member of are the NY State Psychological Association; the National Academy of Neuropsychologists; the International Neuropsychological Society; the Association of Family and Conciliatory Courts; the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children; and, the Association for the Treatment of Sex Abusers.
